Most builders budget a 2 to 3% realtor or broker commission into the base price of a new home. They do this so real estate brokers will refer or bring their buyers to their new home communities. The builder also pays a commission to compete with resale homes as well as other new home builders.


For Example: If the builder is paying 3% on a $600,000 base price that equates to $18,000 in commissions. In this case, your BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor will rebate $6,000 to you when you buy your new home with a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor as your buyer broker. As a home buyer you have 3 choices:
Choice 1.	Use a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor and our Affiliate Realtor will rebate up to 1% of the builder referral fee.
Choice 2.	Obtain the services of a Realtor outside of BuilderInfo.org and the agent may keep the builder referral fee.
Choice 3.	Visit a new home community without representation and the Builder keeps the built-in commission for additional profit.

Getting Your Cash Rebate Is A Very Simple Process!
Step 1:	Sign a Buyer/Broker Agreement with a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor.
Step 2:	OPTIONAL* Pre-Qualify for a mortgage with a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Lender.
Step 3:	Select new home communities to visit.
Step 4:	Contact your BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor prior to your FIRST VISIT to each new home community. CLICK HERE to schedule an appointment.
Step 5:	A BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor must accompany or be recognized by the builder as the procuring cause for the new home sale.

Other restrictions apply. The Cash Rebate Program does not apply to all Builders.
•	Rebates normally apply to the base price of the home and exclude options, upgrades and lot premiums.
•	BuilderInfo.org's Affiliate Realtor reserves the right to apply Rebates to the transaction in the form of closing costs or as a reduction in the base price.
•	Buyer will need to have a signed buyer broker agreement with a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor for rebates to apply.
•	Rebates are based on the builder’s policy to pay a realtor commission of at least 3%. If this policy is not in place, Rebates will not apply.
•	Offer is only valid if Buyer is accompanied by a BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor on the first visit to the community.
•	A BuilderInfo.org Affiliate Realtor must be registered as buyer's real estate broker on buyer's first visit to the community. If Buyer has previously registered with a real estate agent at the Community, the Rebates will not apply.
